Biography
- Performed mechanical Blade design optimization of a small Wind Turbine System.
- Enhanced System-level efficiency of the Wind Turbine system using Torque control and active pitch control mechanism, using Simulink package in Matlab.
- Constructed 3-D CAD model of the optimized turbine blades in SolidWorks. Carried out high-fidelity model validation of the turbine blades using CFD analysis in ANSYS (Fluent).
- Research findings were presented at the National Wind Turbine Center, in Boulder, Colorado, in August, 2017.
